About My Fun Place
Building Character & Confidence
At My Fun Place, we believe that fitness should be fun! Our mission is to provide a community where children can be inspired to grow in their confidence and character through movement and enjoyment.
Our experienced staff enjoy working with children, being active and have energetic and warm personalities. They are also trained in Plan to Protect (abuse prevention) and CPR.
We offer private and semi-private gymnastics classes, PA Day Camps, Birthday Parties and Drop In Programs for children between the ages 18 months to 12 years.
About the Owners
David and Sashauna Nelson are the owners behind My Fun Place. They have a heart to serve their community by offering gymnastics and fitness programs for children to grow in their character and confidence.
Coach David has served as a gymnastics coach – at various local gyms and as a private coach – for over 18 years. He has a natural ability to connect with his students, believing that children must be taught the right way, with the right techniques, no shortcuts.
Sashauna is the team’s administrator and is affectionately called Mrs. Sash. She also works with children and youth and has a way of putting people at ease. Through her mission work, she’s travelled to over 15 countries, serving countless families in need.
David and Sashauna’s warm, friendly yet firm demeanor creates an environment for children and youth to thrive in and for parents to rest assured that their children are in good hands. Their young family reside in Durham Region, and My Fun Place is truly a family affair.

PA DAY CAMPS
PA Day Camps on:

- Ages 4-11
- Full day camp 9:00am to 4:00pm
- Price for full day $40 plus Hst.
- Spots are limited.
- A full day of games, gymnastics, craft and fun!
Facility Information
FACILITY REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION:
1. We accept cash and e-transfer payments only.
2. Socks are required by all participants (adults and children). We do sell them if you have forgotten yours.
3. No shoes are allowed on the blue mats or in the play room.
4. No eating or drinking is permitted on the blue mats or in the play room.
5. We don't allow children over the age of 3 in the play room during class for the safety of younger children (unless they are actively helping a younger child).
6. Clothing is required: tops and bottoms. We don't permit play in just diapers.
7. Children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian when using the bathroom.
